A George III Mahogany Knife /Stationery Box, with satinwood inlay and chevron stringing, from the early 19th century. The sides eachhave brass escutcheons and ring handles,and the front with a brass bow. The interior has a boxed insert for stationerywhich is removable. The box shows weardue to age, otherwise is in nice condition.
Box is missing key for the lock.
The box has a slanting top andmeasures 14 ½” tall in back 9\" tall in front, 7 ½” deep 9 ¾\"wide.
