Exquisite Antique Faux Tortoise Shell Snuff Box with Beautifully inlaid Gold detailing.
A truly lovely thing dated from the early 19th century.Gold Hinge with a large gold Cartouche, devoid of initials.There are a couple of losses to the gold to the lid (three in total) but hardly noticeable. Luckily they werelost in even places (please see pictures).Also, a slight split on the corner of the base where the lid fixes.
