Beautiful 25\" Bisque head composition doll. Clothes are unmarked but believed to be original. Bisque head is marked : Handwerk Germany Halbig on the back of head/neck. Doll eyes open and shut showing beautiful blue glass eyes. Face is beautifully painted with a slightly open mouth showing four little teeth. She has pierced ears. Her wig is a bit flattened but seems to be in good shape. It may need a little styling. I believe the 3pc silk and lace dress is original. It is unmarked and fits her perfectly. I see no damage to the dress but the bottom of the top is not hemmed and the skirt is missing its closure. Her earrings and necklace are lovely. Her impressive composition body is marked Excelsior D.R.P. No 70685. Germany. 5 on her butt cheek. She has some paint rubs and very light crazing on her finger tips and in the joint areas. No cracks and no/little(I can\'t find any) crazing. Please look closely at the pictures and ask questions as there are no returns. The doll is truly exquisite!
