This handsome early 1900’s old soldier is NOT in running condition and is sold as is. Measuring a considerable 43” x 19” wide x 8” deep with 8” dial (including brass) it has largely original parti-ebonized surface with some areas of stripped or dry wood needing new finish. The top with composition head of Athena is original and all of the finials are gone. You will note old (inactive) wormholes and the door hinges are modern replacements. Its celluloid/paper dial is badly discolored and the center of the dial features nice, embossed art nouveau designs.
