Up for sale is this beautiful authentic antique German regimental military stein. This stein stands about 11 1/2\" tall and is 1/2L in size. This stein is guaranteed to be 111 years old (from 1906).This stein has a neat version of a Wurttemberg thumblift (stag and lion on either side of a shield/crown). There are 2 side scenes. There is lots of writing as well - \'Surchtios U.Frem\'. \'The bruder stokt die glaser an. es lebe der reservemann\'. Named to Gefreiter Grossmann. \'Inf.-Rgt. Alt-Wurttemberg (3.Wurtt.) No.121 Ludwigsburg 3. Comp. 1904/06\'. Small print above the handle of the decoator of the stein: \'G.Wieninger fen Munchen Uberlefter. 18.\'Front has a shield with antlers and lions on it and a red epulat with a yellow 121 on it. You can feel the hand enameled hilites of the soldiers buttons, etc in the scenes of the stein. The finial is of a standing soldier holding his rifle. The lid has lots of military implements on it along with two shields that have \'Frieden\' on one side and \'Krieg\' on the other.The stein is in great condition, the only issues are the center hinge ring is missing allowing play in the lid from side to side, and there is a crescent shape litho line in the lithophane in the bottom. Stein displays beautifully.This stein has been in my collection for over 20 years, but it\'s time for someone else to own/admire it. I pack all my items carefully to ensure safe delivery to you.
