Description This nice old clock was made by the Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co. in Winstead, Conn., USA during the early 1900\'s and is in nice condition for its age.

The original movement has recently been cleaned and is running and gonging properly. It counts each hour on a cathedral style gong and then announces each half hour with a single brass bell chime.

Its styling is classic and would fit nicely in almost any decor.

It stands on classic paw feet and has great marbleized arches and brass filigree decorations on either side of the dial.

The celluloid dial and brass bezel assembly are in nice condition. The brass is tarnished and the celluloid is a little wavy, but all of this is consistent with the clock\'s age.

You may find light handling marks here and there from usage over the years and average finish wear, but all in all it\'s a nice old clock that looks amazing, with a quality 8 day movement that has been serviced and is running and gonging well.

Complete with key and pendulum, this clock is ready to place up on the mantle and enjoy for many years to come. The case measures approx 17\" wide x 10 ¾\" high x 6\" deep.
