Offered is the very old surviving glass portion of a wicker and glass hip flask from the 1800\'s. The flask still hasremnants of the old wicker and a working heavy metal screw cap. It is fastinating how the screw cap was fused into the flask neck. The cap is of an unknown heavy metal and does contain initials engraved. The initials make nosense to me butthat itself may make sense since my research shows this to be French in origin.
