Antique oriental crane vase up for sale. This beautiful vase is not marked, it could be Japanese it could be Chinese. The bottom is unglazed. The porcelain vase has a topmotif of panels with different designs and pendants. Two panels have raised white enamel dots in design, makes me think satsuma. The bottom has a thousand red-crowned cranes all in flight with high detail and a gold background. There is wear in the gold at the top and some around the cranes, pictured. Pictures 9,10, & 11 show tiny crazing, glaze cracks, also present around the top rim. No chips or cracks. Measures 6 3/4\" T x 5\" W. Please e-mail for more pictures or questions.
