From my own collection, this is a beautiful and rare Gorham Narragansett Aesthetic sterling salt cellar. The piece is 2 1/4\" long and 1/2\" tall, and is in excellent condition, especially for a piece this old. It has the date mark for 1884, along with the Gorham hallmarks, and the style #2035. It is in the form of a mussel shell, with the applied bottom foot being a scallop shell, and it has barnacle detail on the outer bottom of the salt.
