a beautiful photo album in slightly worn and distressed condition but totally worthy of restoring, or use as it is. The album has textured cover, possibly thin leather over padding, with card pages edged in gilt. The book spine covering is worn and has splits at the corners but the binding is sound. The frame cut-outs are damaged in places on the plain pages, though the floral ones are very good. There is just one photograph present. The metal clasp is whole but doesn\'t stay fastened and it appears the pins which hold the clasp mechanism to the body of the book have become loosened with use, all is present though. Please look at all the pictures for more about condition. Dated 1894 on a presentation paper inside the cover. The album measures 27 x 21 cm and is 5.5 cm thick. This will be well protected for mailing and posted quickly.
