Afriend has asked me to sell out his late father’s entire clock collection aswell as the contents of his clock and watch repair shop. There are over 70really nice clocks, and boxes of watch parts and tools. I intent to list asmany items as I can each week and still keep up with shipping while at the sametime testing each of the clocks and emptying boxes. Check back often. Ianticipate this will last into late October or early November.

This clock should be the standard by which all other mantleclocks of this style are measured. The workmanship is some of the best I haveseen in many years. The porcelain dial with the HAC crossed arrows logo ispristine. The hardwood case has a very few minor dings which is consistent witha clock of this age. It is running, chiming the hours and half-hour on awonderful sounding cathedral gong. It is a fourteen (14) day movement. Even thoughit is running at this time, I would suggest it be taken in for a cleaning.

The only flaw, if you can call it that, is that there once wasa top on it and that has disappeared a long time ago. Personally, I love itjust the way it is. The case measures 15 x 12 x 7 inches.

All clocks from this estate are tested to determine if they run and keeptime. However antique clocks often need adjustment after shipping. I suggestthe buyer take the clock to a reputable repair shop to be checked outthoroughly once it is received.

If you are into watch or clock repair, pay close attention to the partsand tools I’ll be listing. I know nothing about watches, so I’m going to giveit my best guess as to what I’m selling. I’m sure there will be some sleepersmixed in with the lots. Everything is beingsold As Is, No Return.
