This is for a fabulous little antique silver box made in Germany in Kesselstadt by Karl Kurz and then Imported into London by Theodor Hartmann in 1900. The box is really nice, it is all hand worked around the sides and it has a little enamel plaque inset to the lid and a nice rich gilded interior. The box has lovely silver marks on the base, both for its inception in Germany and its relocation to Britain, the PseudoHanau marks to denote the workshop of Karl Kurz and the English Sterling Import marks of Hartmann. It is in absolute excellentcondition with no damage to it anywhere. It measures 30mm x 26mm and stands 18mm tall.
