Here is abeautiful hand carved Working Duck Decoy artist unknown. This scoter duckis all wood except for the hand handcrafted weight and features the original black painted surface with applied wooden wings and painted eyes. The wings have been nailed-in at the edges. Heis a large fowl measuring 16.5 inches long x 7 in. wide and 9 in. tall. He has what could be a re-work to the neck or perhaps he was just made that way; the materials the maker used are the same as what he used on the wings and overall the paint is uniform. There is a small chipoff the tip of one wing.
