Antique Hand Painted Tole Tray Tea Table

This antique hand painted tole tray has a beautiful floral design on the tray with a border and is mounted onto a black lacquered wooden base which allows the tray to stand flat like a screen or turns upward to serve as a table. It has two wooden pegs which go into matched up holes to be able to achieve the two positions of the tray. The base is probably later and wasbench made to accommodate the tray. When the tray is not being used as a table it can be used as a decorative fire place screen or for accent in a room. The tray is 21 1/2 by 28 1/2 inches, 14 inch spread between legs, is 25 1/2 inches high as a table, 33 1/2 inches when folded down and is in very good condition with only some minor paint loss due to age wear.
