Details: Here is an Antique Handmade 2-String African Asian Tribal Musical Instrument Wooden 54\" Tall. Appears to be in nice condition. Looks very good but I believe it is an antique so that would explain the wear from age. Strings feel loose so it can probably not be played unless the strings are tightened but this is being sold more for its decorative properties. It has a very nice African Asian Tribal feel to it, and the handcrafted wood only adds to that look. Please view the pictures closely for the best cosmetic description.

Some interesting things to note: Wooden pegs were used instead of metal, which makes it more authentic. The frets were connected to the base using tar, which also adds to the authenticity. I believe this was not an instrument created for the tourist trade, but instead this was probably someone\'s personal instrument that they made. I believe this just becuase of how it was made and the authenticity behind it, and also the fact that it is longer than most others I have seen. It appears as if it has been lacquered to help the preservation of the instrument.
