This is a stunning handmade pair of 2 antique 19th century handmade miniature guitar and mandolin instruments.they are completely made by hand from high quality materials.faux tortoise shell, sterling silver, mother of pearl, and cow bone.the mandolin has a thick tortoise shell body and the top has many inlaid mother of pearl and sterling decorative pieces.it has a rounded bottom which also has wonderfulsterling silver roping inlays, it is wrapped withsterling along the edges, and also has sterling inlays on the shaft.the bottom of the mandolin has a carved cow bone finial which is used to hold the string.the guitar is a similar design and made from the same high quality materials.they each measures about 6 inches long.they are overall in nice shape with some ware.they are both missing most of the tuners and string that can be easily replaced.
