Up for offer we have a beautiful antique handmade religious icon depicting the Flight into Egypt. This icon was handmade with wood, mother of pearl, and plastic inlay (possibly bakelite). Some details of this piece are hand-painted, but the majority is made with inlay. The measurements for the icon are roughly 7\" x 9\" x .5\" and is very Russian in appearance. The reds and blues give it a very Russian folk art feel. There is no date on the piece, but appears to have been created in the first half of the 20th century.
