This is a very RARE Antique Hertwig Co. German Bisque LARGE Victorian Children Figurine, RARE! Circa late 1800\'s maybe early 1900\'s.This sculpture was patterned after the famous painting by Fredrick Morgan, entitled \"Seahorses\".Hertwig bisque are similar to Heubach bisque figurines.Measures about 10 inches long and stands about 8 1/2 inches tall.Very nice condition for its age. There may be 2 little repairs on the bottom of the little girls skirt ( see close up photo) and there is a tiny chip on the back side of her red bow in her hair ( see close up photo) also the bisque finish to her yellow hat rim on the back side is a little rough.A very RARE Hertwig Co. bisque figurine!
