An antique Hubley cast iron Still Bank, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, ca.1920. This is the HTF Scouting Indian Brave with Tomahawk penny bank, aka \"Indian Echo Caves\" (Moore #228). Two-piece casting held together by a single flathead screw below the coin slot on the backside. Retains wonderful original painted surface; one of the best color schemes for this model I have seen with superb details throughout. Condition: Scattered areas paint loss and small chips (mainly high point wear) from use and handling, as shown; otherwise Excellent with bold, vibrant color. Minor soiling noted on the arms and feathered headdress; it has not been cleaned. No cracks or repairs. Displays brilliantly; highly-appropriate for the advanced collector.
