Item: - Imperial Russian Sterling Silver& Enamel Triptych Travel Icon-Moscow 1895

Description: - This is asuperb antique imperial russian sterling silver & enamel triptych travel icon.From pre-Soviet Imperial Russia, this folding miniature altar pendant, crafted in .84 silver, unfolds to reveal a colorful enamel triptych incorporating saints and the Twelve Apostles. To the reverse the icon is stamped with the makers mark KP, Assayers mark, Silver standard mark 84, andMoscow hallmark depicated Saint George slaying the dragon.

Assay: - Marked 84= 87.5% silver (Moscow hallmark)

Condition: -The icon is in very good antique condition. The enamel is in good condition with no chips or loss. The icon naps shut securely. Light tarnish to piece. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
