Here we have a very decorative and good quality item of Indian brassware dating from the early 20th century. This lovely vase has a baluster shape and an everted rim and stands 11 1/2 inches high. It is a feast for the eyes with its intricate etched and engraved floriate decoration in bands over the main body of the vase. The engraving is highlighted with different coloured enamels in alternating bands from the base - red, green, red, blue, red and green. The overall effect is high decorative and this vase is a testament to the skill of its maker.The vase has a base diameter of 4 inches and at the neck rim, 4 3/4 inches.
