Heavy Antique Bronze Figure of The Hindu God Lord Ganesh

Late 18th/ early 19th century.

Modelled 4-armed bearing articles, and should include some sort of spear/ trident that is sadly missing which should rest in the lower right hand- there is a hole through the hand where the trident should be held.

Almost 760 grams in weight. Very heavy for size

Dimensions: 8.5cm high, 9cm wide

Lovely dark brown patina

This was a gift, in 1990, from king Fahd of Saudi Arabia to a friends grandmother whom worked for the Saudi Royal family. She would spend 6 months in Saudi Arabia working and 6 months here in the UK but sadly the lady has now passed away.

I am in the process of cataloging about 40 items that were gifted to the lady from King Fahd and now, left to me, some of which have already sold and range from £500 to over £10,000. I will be listing the majority on , so please see my other listings.
