 Here is a really nice 18th Century - Georgian IRISH antique silver serving spoon... it has an engraved family livery crest of the surname IRELAND on the Celtic Point handle end.
Which is a stood bird - Dove  holding an Olive branch in its beak.
The IRELAND family can be traced to a number of places in England as well as Ireland of course.
This spoon has an 18th Century rubbed hallmark... date letter could be a D or P.. you can see the makers mark is HM or MH.
Further research is needed here.
This spoon is 9 and 1/4 inch long x 1 and 3/4 inch wide bowl and it weighs approx.....64grams.
