Here is a beautiful & classic sterling silver tea or chocolate pot by J. E. Caldwell & Co. - James Emmot Caldwell (1813 - 1881), American jeweler & founder of J.E. Caldwell & Co. in 1839.

This pot stands 8 1/2\" high and weighs 322.4 grams (10 ozt)

This pot is marked on the bottom: Sterling & JE Caldwell & Co.

The black handle does have a crack around its center & some of the black paint is chipping and/or fading.

Additionally, there are some dents/dings on the pot. Please view all pictures. Thanks!
