Up for your consideration is a beautiful

13 3/8\" Limoges tankard pitcher with apples. This great piece features red apples and green foliage against a green and red background.

The base measures 6\" diameter.

On the bottom , it has an underglaze printed mark for Jean Pouyat, potter 1842-1898.

There is a small 3/8\" chip in the white glaze on the inside of the rim,and a small black spot on the base. Other than that, it is in excellent condition and the colors are vibrant.

The pitcher is signed twice by the early Chicago artist M. H. Dorothy .
