This is a beautiful 30\" long Hawaiin or Japanese war club. I believe it is probably Hawaiin. This came from a friend of ours who had it in his family for 80 years. It may be even older than that. We have not cleaned it or oiled it. There is inlay and the wooden blade has a very interesting shape. There is nice grooves and carving on the top. I am not sure what type of wood it is. There are a couple of very small pieces of wood that have chipped off the carving. It would make a great addition to any collection of interesting Hawaiin, Japanese or African ethnic carvings.
