Antique Japanese shibayama ink stone box. Mother of pearl and bone inlaid in black lacquer. Meiji Period 1868-1912. Good condition- age cracks in lacquer, and minor old repaired damage to one corner (see picture #12). Measures 5 3/8 inches by 3 1/4 inches and 7/8 inches thick.
