Boxed set of 6 antique Japanese sterling silver pins. 3\" length. In original hinged velvet lined box. Vintage early 1950s.
Each pin has its own unique design: a Japanese lantern, wishing well, tea pot, Buddha, fan and a Japanese gate.
I am uncertain of the purpose of the pins... was told they were hat pins, hair pins, tie clips, place card holders and lastly what I believe they are....hors d\'oeuvres picks. As you can see there is a clip on the backs of the pins... I was told this then can hang over the side of dish.
They are lovely, I have not polished them.
