Antique JOHN MADDOCK & Sons Royal Vitreous Empire Blue Flow 9\" PlateUp for sale is an elegant, antique JOHN MADDOCK & SONS Royal Vitreous EMPIRE blue flow scalloped plate. It\'s 9\" in diameter with an embossed bunting / garland in the border. There are gold accents--the gold paint is mostly worn but there are no cracks or breaks. On the backside there are 2 nick pits, not visible from the front. It\'s marked with a blue stamp and has an incised mark that looks like a crown. I purchased this at an estate sale and am uncertain of its age but my guess is late 19th century.*Please note that my shipping time is up to 5 business days as I have multiple jobs and can only ship one day a week. If you happen to purchase after I return from the post office on shipping day it will be a full week wait until I am able to ship again.
