Judd Manufacturing dates back to 1833 as a harness manufacturer in New Britain, CT. The firm changed hands and became HL Judd of Brooklyn NY in 1886. In the early 1910’s they began to produce decorative art metal castings in brass, bronze and iron. Among these were bookends and book racks which were produced between 1910 and 1930. Judd identified their bookends with a 9000 stock number. I am not sure if this is a #9790 or 9798

Condition: EXCELLENT structural, asthetic and working condition - Please see photos. No damage whatsoever.
