This beautiful little jewelry trinket box is in beautiful condition. I see just a tiny bit of damage to the tops of the rose petals with my magnifying glass, which is amazing for the age and delicate nature of the applied flowers and stems. Handpainted flowers grace the top and there is an applied rose bud finial with applied rose stems, a ribbonand forget-me-not flowers as well. There is also a tiny bit of discolorationwhere the coral and gold trim meet Beautiful, delicate and rare, especially in this condition. From the markings and qualityI surmise this was manufactured sometime between 1837 and 1870 by Konigliche Porzellan Manufaktur, Berlin Porcelain. It is small, justa scant 3\" across, but packedwith details of a gentler time.
