Large antique fishing creel from the late1800\'s - turn of the century, made fromSPLIT WILLOWwith the FRENCH WEAVE style.

Nice leather and canvas shoulder strap/harness (although dirty)!

MEASUREMENTS: 14 1/2\" long x 9 1/2 high x 5 1/2\" deep

As mentioned above, this creel is in excellent vintage condition (dirty and aging to the leather, canvas and front hinge)with only a tiny break in one of the lid hinges. Please note that there is a thin wire wrapped loosely around the hinge holes to prevent any further damage (see last photo for break and wire image). Also, some breaks in the tiny VERTICLE DECORATIVE split willow details in the front left side (see 1st photo and use zoom).
