Here I have an antique solid silver locket pendant. It features a raised panel in the centre with an engraved foliate design. Around the outside are further engraved stars and scrolls. It\'s also nicely detailed on the reverse with more foliate work, scrolls and stars. Inside, there\'s room for 2 photos - the innards are missing from this locket but if you cut the pics to the right size, there\'s a little lip of silver which they will sit behind, so they will stay put.The inside has been painted gold at some point. There\'s a large bale at the top which would accommodate most chains.As with many antique pieces, it\'s unmarked but tests as solid silver.
The main body of the locket (without the bale at the top) measures 4.4cm high and 3.6cm wide. With the bale at the top, it\'s total length is 5.8cm.It weighs 12.6grams.
Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. Just has the usual wear and tarnish to the silver which you\'d expect on an antique item.
