Spectacular and very impressive large wool embroidery on black background of a Scott in a Highlander dress, in a black frame with a gilded mount and under glass.Provenance: from a private Oxfordshire country estate collection.
Condition: the embroidery is fine, the stretcher at the back with old woodworm holes, the frame with chipped moulding, the glass is slightly dusty underneath
