Good overall condition, as per clear pics usual marks /signs of use /age, nice patina to the leather, with metal decor. The small metal collar on the handle is loose, not an issue as its secured by the handle, just mentioned for 100% accuracy. The blue silk interior is still present, though worn and marked. I guess this was originally a traveling Etui or Necessair case as the lid has a recess which would have held some sort of tool, though long since lost. Very nice piece with real age, circa 1850. Nice petit size, measure approx: 15cm w x 7cm h x 7cm wide.
