This beautiful 17” alloriginal felt doll from the 300 Series is a rare find. She wears a long

organdy dressdecorated with the traditional Lenci felt flowers overruffled pantaloons and a hooped slip.

She has another flower inher blond hair and a pearl necklacearound her neck. She carries a tiny handkerchief. Her body has no moth holes that I can find and

except for some slight fading the felt appears to be in good condition.

The hip joints are loose but remain in place and Inever tried to see how far they will go.She displays very well on adoll stand. The dress has a tear that was repairedbefore I got herand one of the flowers was pinned in place. There are a couple ofstains on her under garments which I tried to show in mypictures. A similar doll is shown in the Bestof Doll Reader VolumeI page 6 held by ShirleyTemple as one of the group of dolls Lenci or the studio gave to her as agift.
