Walter C. Barre writes:I am doing pretty well today only have a slight cold butit is not very bad. I hope this will find you all doing all right but have not heardfrom you all yet. I know you have been writing but I have not gotten them. I wantyou to write me a letter just as soon as you get thisletter and one every or two weeks so that I might getone of them for I am anxious to hear from you. I have not heard a thing from youfor five months and I am worried to know how you are getting along. I wouldrather see you than anybody else in the world. I did not know how much I didlove you mother till I left home to come over here.
The letter was found at the Walter C Barre estate home located at 2584 Bush River Road, Newberry, SC.
