This Flagon or syrup jug is a small form with a handle and hinged lid. This is an early piece of pewter in a rare form and size combination. It has a hinged lid with a nicely shaped scrolled handle at the top and a shell thumb rest. This is marked with a crown and rose mark and a lion rampant mark, but I can't read the maker's name. I believe this is a Continental pewter Flagon.

DIMENSIONS: 6 1/8" H. x 2 3/4" W. x 4 3/8" L. from the back of the handle to the top of the spout.

CONDITION: The condition is very good with some scratching, but no damage or repairs.
