Rabbit is on sale till the listing ends or best offer accepted. Estate Find lovely Life Sized German Victorian Paper Mache/Composition Flocked (fuzzy feel to the painted fur) Easter Bunny Rabbit. Wonderful old beauty hard to find these as they are staying in collections. This one had whiskers at one time you can see the white dots on the mouth sides of the mouth area and he is one of the largest sizes they made in the walking style. This Rabbit is of German origin but unmarked and his head removes to store treats. The Rabbit has brown glass eyes and is approx 12-3/4\" tall and approx 13-3/4\" long to the outstretched leg and approx 5\" across the widest point of the chest in the front. He has normal wear to his painted finish on the body and both arms have old repairs and there are repairs to the ear area with paint touch up to that area and some of the mouth paint was flaked and touched up. There is some age lines around the eyes and an age line in front at the edge of the neck in front but most of these old beauties have some repair and paint wear from age. There was a set of baskets in with him when I bought him years ago, the baskets came off the ribbon and were glued back on. The top row of pictures has the flash on to show detail.
