This is a stunningly rare antique 18th century life-sized hand carved solid wood wall mount Jesus Christ sculpture.It is a very large sculpture and once displayed in a church in Italy…measures 61 inches tall by 19 inches wide.It is carved with an abundance of veryintricatedetailing, from asolid piece of wood, and has acquired a wonderful patina from age.It is very lifelike and extremely dimensional.Jesus is depicted in his long robe standing on a cluster of beautifully carved clouds and has a sacred heart at his chest done inhigh relief.his hands are extremely lifelike and is shown giving peace wile his hand have large open wounds.The back is cut flat to be able to hang flush on a wall and has a very large iron hanging hook.it is in nice antique condition with normal hairlines and knots from being natural wood.it is in very nice antique condition and is extremely rare.I have been dealing in high quality religious artifacts for many years and this on is truly as good as it gets. buyer is responsible to file insurance claims via USPS, if package arrives broken or damaged, due to USPS\'s new policies the broken or damaged package has to be present when filing claims. If it is under 40$ and insurance is not requested from buyer, I will not be responsible to refund purchase for broken or lost item/items.There will be no sales tax charged to cost of item, unless the buyer lives in, and/or is getting package shipped to a New Jersey address.
