Up for your consideration is a fine antique set of Alfred Lionel Crichton Bros sterling silver salt and pepper shakers. A beautiful set of quality made sterling silver shakers. they are hallmarked LAC the symbols date it to 1928, also signed on the bottom Crichton Bros London & New York. Nice detail and tiered top with rope like detail very classy look. Each shaker measures a little over 4.5\" tall. This is a antique set that has been used so please take a look at all the pics for the best description. One shaker has a few small dings on the top part (not bothersome), no dents or noteworthy scratches. Together they weigh 162 grams of solid sterling silver these are not weighted.

History:

The business of dealers in antique silver and retail silversmiths was established c. 1890 by Lionel Alfred Crichton.
In 1920 the firm was active with premises in London (22 Old Bond street), New York (636 Fifth Avenue) and Chicago (622 South Michigan Avenue).
The firm went out of business in the 1950s.
