Description: I have been able to date a couple of these. One from 1860 and one from 1840. I believe them to be German but much of what I have found has been in German and untranslated.
Lithographs. Three of them say they came from a museum. I can see a signature on three of them, but do not know what it says.
Subject: all of them are titled in German I believe. They show various people and types of costume depicting the time. And/or profession status I suppose.
This series has been framed and matted, but you may want to have this redone as it was done sometime ago I believe.
Condition: very Good, given age. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully. Professionally matted. Not examined out of matting or frame. We will not remove these from the frame. We feel it would be safer to ship them as they are.
Size (in inch): The overall size is ca. 12.5\" x 41 inch. The image size is ca.7\" x 5 inch.
Small: Handcoloured lithograph on a vellin type paper.
