Here is a very nice antique 12 x 14 heavy duty cast iron ornate working register or grate. It was made by S. M. & F. Co. of S. Milwaukee WI. This register is over 100 years old. There are no breaks, cracks or chips. The louvered mechanism works freely with one finger. It is in excellent working condition. Overall measurements are 13 15/16\" by 16 1/8\" by 2 3/4\" thick. It weighs almost 19 pounds.
