I just finished servicing this lovely miniature carriage clock featuring astriking Sterling Silver case. The English case is hallmarked in four places; the handle, inside the bezel, inside the door, and underneath the case, all with the Sterling Silver and London hallmark dated for 1919. The case is also hallmarked MN&WB for Mappin & Webb. The silver has been polished and is in overall great condition, with the expected wear and tearcommensurate of an item of its age. There are a couple of minor imperfections,including a small dent in one of the feet and a spot of bubbling in the crystal, that show under magnification and strong lighting, but are not as obvious normally.

The miniature French movement has been given a full service and is in top shape. The original escapement runs eagerly and the clock keeps good time. The enamel dial is flawless.

The clock measures approximately 6.5cm x 4.5cm x 4cm (2 1/2 x 1 3/4 x 1 1/2 inches).
