14 x 10 inches without the frame.
18 ½ x 14 ½ inches with the frame.

Description:
Original oil on canvas. Signed with the artists monogram C.P and dated 1863. The oil is titled on the old exhibition label on the back: Parti fra Frederikslund Dyrehave ved sorod. Meaning: landscape from the Frederikslund Deer Park at Sorod. A location south Zealand. Gorgeous antique oil with woman and child talking a walk in the deer park. Masterly executed and filled with bright lights and atmosphere. A top quality piece and a collectors dream! The oil is framed in its original golden 19th century salon frame.A certificate of authenticity and a document with the artists biographical details will be included with this work.

Carl Ferdinand Pedersen ( 1803-1875)
Born in 1803. Born in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1803. Educated at the Royal art Academy in 1824. Pupil of C.W. Eckersberg in 1828. The works of Carl Ferdinand Pedersen are rare as his artistic activity was very limited due to mental problems. He worked and lived in Berlin during the mid 19th century and worked all over Scandinavia. He is best known for his series of landscapes, figures and portraits. He exhibited at the Royal Charlottenborg show from 1820-1832.

Condition:
Ready to hang! In excellent condition. The canvas could use a light cleaning due to the old age. Otherwise fine with no holes, tears or missing paint. The original 19th century golden salon frame has minor scratches due to the age.
