Offered for sale is an antique mauchline mushroom-shaped darner with the domed section covered in a red and green tartan, labeled \"MacLean\". The underside has a black lacquer finish with the words \"Made in Great Britain\" in gold, and the tip of the piece twists off to reveal a needle case in the handle. Approximate measurements are 4 1/4\" long x 2 1/2\" in diameter. It is in very good condition overall, with only slight loss of pattern and color - please see condition report and photos for details.
