Beautiful souvenir mauchline ware double pointed knitting needle case

with a transfer image of \"Date Palms, Florida\". These are the species of edible or \'true\" date palms.

The named cultivars of this palm include Deglet Noor, Medjool and Zahidi.

For the last century, Florida has been well known for its avenues of date palms.

The transfer \"etching\" also features several egrets strolling around the trees.

Contains 3 pairs of double pointed needles in assorted sizes.

Circa: 1915

Condition:

VERY GOOD

There are no cracks or splits.

Overall surface and varnish clear and bright,

with absolutely no wear.

Appears to have never been used.

There are two small ink marks on outer case.

Steel double pointed needles have rust thru out.
