LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK, IMPRESSED MODEL 2945., IMPRESSED 15 AND 70, PAINTED 5.

Modelled as two putti, one standing with a sack of grain behind him, the other next to a tree, a hoe and a spade at his feet, on a rocialle-moulded base.

Measures approximately 6 1/2" (16.5 cm) high.

In good condition, the spade is missing its handle and the hoe seems missing part of its handle, one tree branch is missing.

I bought this figurine in New York Christie\'s sale on October 25, 2007. A copy of the receipt can be provided.
