This sale is foran Ornithologicalhand painted Meissen Dinner Plate with Birds Insects andButterfly circa early to mid 1800\'s.
This pattern was later used by Herend and called Rothschild and Victoria.
The plate has the Crossed Swords mark in blue under glaze (marked as a second with two scratch marks) with the impressed numbers 106?
The platemeasures approximately 9 1/2 inches across.
There is some wear to the gilding, but no utensil marks and the hand painting is in very good condition.
The plate hasa tightcrack (about2 inches long) and a ground down chip to the foot ring which we have shown in the pictures.
