This listing is for a very old antique candy dish. The base is a fish jumping in water. The base is cast iron and I believe is silver plate. There are only very minor cosmetic imperfections on the base as shown in the pictures. There is no writing or any type of indication of the maker or the age. You can tell by looking at it that it is very old. I polished the base and it took a good shine. I replaced the felt pad on the bottom because the old one was missing. The milk glass dish on the top is real milk glass. You can see the fire inside when you hold it up to the light. There are no cracks, chips, or other damage to the milk glass dish. This candy dish stands 5-3/4 inches tall. The round milk glass dish has a diameter of 4-3/4 inches.
